Disclaimer: this is an unplanned wear test.

Today I had an appointment that was shifted earlier than expected. So I was in a rush and I just put Anessa Perfect Milk 2018 formula on my face and arms. I used A'pieu Soo Boo Ji on my neck but I totally forgot to take pics of it. I already did a rub test on Anessa few weeks ago here, and A'pieu one here.

Like I said, I was in a rush, so I didn't wait 20mins. I just let it dry for like 5-7 mins, and put on my make up. I was meeting with my partner (that I haven't met for 3-4 months since the lockdown order lol we live separately with each our own family during this pandemic).

I did put on full make up: Bourjois Air Matt powder (with a puff), RCMA Translucent powder (with Elf brush), Rimmel powder blush (with a brush) and eyes and brows.

This is how the sunscreen looked on pretty fresh application at 12pm noon, UV index was 11. It wasn't that hot today, it was a bit cloudy here and I didn't sweat like yesterday. Sorry for the mask, but you get the gist - it was an even layer all over.

Face (12PM)
Arm (12PM)

We came back home like around 3pm. I didn't take a good pic, but my face still have the sunscreen layer with no issue. Just a bit shiny.

So I blot my whole face with facial tissue to remove oils (it's inevitable really in our weather) and I had a nap and I slept on my left side mostly. After I woke up, I blot my face again (forehead and nose and sides of the nose). I didn't reapply my sunscreen at all.

I took last photos on 8pm, and surprised to see the sunscreen seems to have GONE from my arms. I figured it could be due to me snuggling on the bed (literally wasted my day rolling on my bed, thanks to migraine sigh)

Arm (8PM)

Weird that the UV camera didn't see any sunscreen at all. Because when I tried to run water on my arms, I could see the water droplet being formed - meaning the water resistant veil actually were still there. I needed cleansing oil to remove them from my arms completely. So I am still baffled with this. If anyone know the reason, let me know!

Face (8PM)
Notice the areas that are patchy

Left Cheek (8pm)
Left Cheek - noticed patchy area

Right Cheek (8pm):

My right cheek seems fairly OK. I mostly slept on my left, like I have mentioned. The tip of my nose has no more sunscreen on it (probably rubbed off when I was blotting with tissue, or on my partner's clothes LOL)

Moral of the story, reapply your sunscreen, esp if you have oily skin like me.

I usually reapply if I'm out whole day. I can reapply Anessa on top of make up without ruining my make up (I don't wear foundation). But I was just lazy, and people with frequent migraine will understand this, when it attacks, nothing else really matters, you just want to take a sleep haha! And I do have tinted glass window at home so all is good. Not like I'm an obsessive person when it comes to sunscreen in first place, really.

There you have it! I know they are crappy photos haha. I have a reason for this! Allow me to explain why.

Look at the crappy usb socket of my uv camera sunscreenr here. It keeps detaching itself so it's hard to take photo while keeping the connection 'alive' with my phone. It's cheaply made imo, seems this company didn't plan to make this usb type C when they began the production. The original design seems to be micro usb. I'll need to replace this usb converter to a better one.
